    Inspection reports

    • Reports now make corrections, company details, agreements, and payment holds clearer
    • Items that still need an inspector's answer are easier to identify before publishing
    • Property details, pricing, and photo information are presented more clearly

    2.0.0 — Statutory forms and guided imports

    OpenInspection 2.0.0 is here — the open-source inspection software behind Inspector Hub. Highlights of this release:

    Statutory forms

    • Produce an authority's official form by filling the authority's own PDF, then reading it back to confirm every answer landed where it belongs
    • Four forms ship: Texas TREC REI 7-6, Florida Citizens 4-Point, Florida OIR-B1-1802 Uniform Mitigation Verification, and Florida Citizens Roof (RCF-1)
    • The editor shows what a form still needs before you publish it, and names which revision of the form governs this inspection — including after a reschedule
    • Answers with more instances than the page has room for are routed into the form's own comments box instead of being dropped
    • A published revision can be withdrawn with a stated reason, and updating a package retires the template it supersedes

    Migrating from another product

    • An import wizard at Settings → Imports, in four stages: Upload, Mapping, Repair and Import
    • Open an .xlsx in the browser and choose which sheet to send; PDF sources can be read too
    • You name which product the file came from, and review and repair the staged rows before anything is written
    • Any run can be reverted before its undo deadline, and the batch report shows the file's own columns and how each one was mapped

    Inspection reports

    • Reports are produced per deliverable rather than per inspection
    • Sub-items print inside their parent's card
    • A corrected report says that it is a correction

    Field and collaboration

    • Template items nest up to three levels, with a measured indent, a guide rail and outline numbers
    • Add sub-items and pick a parent from the properties panel; deleting a subtree asks first

    Client experience

    • A language toggle on the report, with a courtesy translation that can be served to a reader or withheld
    • Print a translated report as a single file, English first
    • A recipient with no account can unsubscribe from an email

    Referrals and communication

    • Referring agents accept the terms in force before a session starts, and every acceptance is kept

    Integrations and internationalization

    • Choose your AI provider, and test the credential that was actually saved
    • Report translation runs on a workspace's own AI key
