Settings → Advanced is the credentials page. Nothing here is required to run inspections; everything here changes what the product can reach on your behalf.
Stripe Connect
Where your own Stripe account is connected, so client payments land with you.
The precedence rule is worth repeating because it is unusual and it is about money: your stored key always beats a key configured at the deployment level. Every other integration credential works the other way round. That exception exists so a stray platform key cannot silently route your clients' payments into someone else's account.
AI features
AI assistance needs a model and a credential.
Hosted — assistance can run on platform credentials, metered against your plan. Bring your own if you would rather it did not.
Self-hosted — there is no platform key. Set a model and your own credential here. With no model configured, AI features fail closed rather than guessing one.
The three confirmations
Storing your own AI key asks you to confirm three things, and the save is refused without all three:
- You have read your provider's terms.
- Your plan or tier permits this use.
- You understand how that provider processes what is sent to it.
These are recorded as present or absent — an unticked box sends nothing at all, so "absent" can never be mistaken for "confirmed as false". They exist because the credential is yours: the content of your clients' reports will be sent to a company you chose, on terms you agreed to, and that is a decision only you can make.

Integration keys
The remaining credentials — the services from Connected apps that need a key rather than an OAuth connection.
Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown back to you after saving. A credential that is present but wrong looks exactly like one that is correct until something fails at the worst moment, so use the test action where a panel offers one.
